Courtney and Cody had an amazing wedding ceremony at Waterstone Venue in Johnson City, Tennessee. The lighting was perfect, autumn was just starting to peek through, and so many family and friends traveled from all over to celebrate with them.

Courtney and Cody
Cody and Courtney braved the hike to Roan Mountain with us for their engagement shoot. During this time, we learned that they had moved to Knoxville from Colorado. We could also see how much they loved each other in every action.
One super amazing thing was that after their very first date, Courtney pulled her phone out after returning home and documented that she felt that this man she didn’t even know the last name of, would become her husband. This is documented in their wedding video, and it’s so special to see where they are now after this proclamation following their first date.
Wedding Day
When their wedding day approached, the day was perfect. It was just before autumn, and the sun was dressed with a blanket of clouds. Having the background we have, we knew that this day would be perfect for photos.
Waterstone was immaculate as always. The waterfall, the ceremony site in front of the pond, and the amazing reception areas this venue offers is unmatched. Decor celebrating the time Courtney and Cody had dated leading up to this day was scattered everywhere. And as the family started arriving from places all over the US, the excitement filled the air.
As Courtney and Cody shared their vows, their love radiated. And after their first kiss, all of their family and friends celebrated this amazing gift of love that God so freely gives to us as the night went on. Courtney was right the night after their first date… Cody would be the one she married, and now she not only knew his last name, she shared it.
A Message to the Bride and Groom
Courtney and Cody, thank you guys so much for choosing us to capture your amazing day! It was a true joy getting to know you all and learn your love story. Your love radiates, and that is one of the many joys that we see while getting to do what we love to do. Thank you and your family and friend for being so hospitable to us during your wedding day. Your alls day will be one we will always remember! We’re so glad you all are Tennesseans now, and we are praying for such an amazing marriage ahead!
